Open Question: DownThemAll- for Firefox?
I don't receive how to use the Firefox extension Down Them every. I'll download parts of .rar. files on a site like 01,02,03 with Down The every. That nice of thing. And every I receive are kb files, ps file. These are WAY too tiny to be the actual files I told the thing to download. (p.s- I already read the unhelpful guide to Down Them every on their site.)

Open Question: Help with my Sims 2 downloads?
Okay well I found heaps of chilly stuff on the site modthesim but none of it wants to work. I have a mac and I did this. I have stuffit expander and when click download it asks me how i want it and i say "open with stuffit expander" then it continues to download onto my desktop with 2 things. One is this orange cube thing that says rar and one folder which has inside it many grey rectangle with a tiny green writing in the left top corner. So then I select every in the folder and move it to the sims 2 download thing, go into the game and it comes up but not as it should. I then delete the empty file and the orange cube thing because i didn't know what to do with them. I downloaded a facial piercings pack and they came up but they blend in with the skin and don't look 3d ish like in the sites pictures. What am I doing wrong and what should I be doing? I only have sims2 and i downloaded things that only require that. No it even says on the site how to downnload for macs.

Open Question: torrent game issues with extraction?
i have run in to a issue with extracting it they are every split and i fused them with HJsplit to find that it is missing a file that isnt even in there and ive just tried renaming it to a .rar format and extracting the iso and it says im missing a different file if dl it 2 times and every one has had it working on the first time its one of razer1911's so if that helps there is is TY for any help i receive links are fine also but i would prefer to dl it again if spent far to long as is dling it

Voting Question: I tend to get a LOT of corrupt downloads when using JDownloader, anyone know why?
Specifically, I receive archived files (rar or zip) that receive a CRC mistake upon trying to extract. They do it automatically first with JDownloader's plugin, then I try with both 7-zip and winrar (I noticed that sometimes archives rarely fail to extract in 7-zip but will extract in winrar for some reason, so I usually try both) and both fail. When I have JDownloader download the file again, it will usually be fine, though sometimes it will screw up again. I've noticed this happening mainly with file sharing sites like rapidshare or mediafire, though that could be because sites like this are where I'd usually use JDownloader, and other hosts I'd just use firefox's built in download manager unless the file is somehow split up or inconvenient to receive at. I've read that running a lot of concurrent downloads can cause this, but I have it set to only let two go at a time. Anyone have any idea what could cause this? It would be nice if it were some setting I could change or something... Seems to occur around 1/4 of the time or so. I have a quick connection, so restarting the broken parts isn't a huge deal, but it would be nice of nice if I could solve this once and for every.

Voting Question: I do I unzip multiple rar files into one?
I don't EVER download from torrents, but I found myself forced to after Netflix and Amazon failed to deliver a foreign movie I was after. I ended up downloading it, but it was downloaded in 4 different .rar folders. When I unzip them individually I don't look any signs of a movie in them, so I'm guessing I have to unzip them every into one, or something like that. Any ideas?

I downloaded a movie The Time Traveler's wife from one of the site which allowed me to download every the 4 parts from hotfile The part file is in the format "TTTW.%5B2009%5D%5BDVDRip-iMBT%5D.avi.001" when I double click this file it says that "AVI is broken. Seeking will not work correctly. Do you want to try to repair it?" And if I click yes, it creates a AVI Index and only this part of the movie gets played. This was obtained through VLC media player.. I have even tried every other supportable players like WM, MP, etcs. Please help!

Open Question: Using 7-zip to keep broken files (extract a rar with only part1)?
How do I extract broken files using 7-zip. In winzip you can extract a file if you have the first rar, part1.rar ..., in a series (without requiring the others) using the "keep broken files option". How do you do this with 7-zip? Any links explaining this would be helpful to advise someone.

Voting Question: adobe bridge and .rar & .exe files?
all of my .rar files and .exe files open with adobe bridge because i accidently set one to open it with that because i didnt know what it was, but now it made it permanent. how do i change it and what should i set it to open with? i have a macbook by the way.

Voting Question: Okay so I made a file type for downloading Sims2 Stuff and I want it back to RAR or deleting it completely.IDK?
I made a FILE TYPE for whenever I download my Sims 2 Custom Content. I want to delete it or change it back to a WinRAR file type so I can receive it downloaded into my game when I extract it. Can somebody please tell me how to delete or change back this file type??? Thank you SO much! No ugh actually that has no help (sorry) because this has nothing to do with extracting I was just saying that because that is what I am planning to do when I am done deleting the file type....
